In addition to Alexei, who played Marcuccio, the show occupied six more Olympic Champions. Tatiana Totmianina and Maxim Marinin played Romeo and
Juliet, Roman Kostomarov — Tybalt, Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov— the Prince and
Duchess of Verona, Ilia Kulik — Paris.

Interestingly, in the scenography of the play unite the two worlds
medieval Britain and Italy, as well as modern elements such as neon sign
theater, the shining poster. And the Central part of the scenery
took the dagger, hitting a stained glass window of the Temple of Love.

Preparations for the performance, which involved 22 athletes, coach class, 14 artists ice ballet
5 singers, 10 dancers and 5 musicians (and in the creative and
the technical group of play works more than 150 people), took more than six months,
the lion’s share of that time took the scenario of “transferring
Shakespeare’s tragedy on skates.”
