The actor began filming a new series of NTV.

In
Sverdlovsk region started shooting a new
historical series NTV “Gold Lagin”. The main role — the Chairman of the gold mining artel “Severnaya” Ivan Timofeevich Lagin — will be performed by the Russian actor Alexander Baluev.

Action
the series is set in the late ‘ 70s. Ministerial authorities
dissatisfied with Laganum: he shares with them the money, but it pays
large
the salaries of workers. Officials are trying to discredit him in the eyes
the public, accused of theft and anti-Soviet. Lagin begins
to fight bureaucratic arbitrariness and seeks the protection of the Kremlin.

He gets in
the view of the KGB, after which the KGB are trying to draw
his political games against the Minister of interior. From prison Lagin saves
call Brezhnev. However, after the death of the Secretary General on him again
hunting and arrest him. The bandits attack the mine, and the sons Lagin
stand up for my father’s Affairs. While in prison
Lagin wrote a letter to Andropov about necessity of reforms in the gold mining
industry. Andropov understood that the country needs change, and
all of a sudden, Lagin released.

the script is based on a very interesting story that I immediately
liked it, and so I agreed to do this project. My hero
Ivan
Lagin is very similar to me in character, that is why I don’t
had something special to get into character. Besides, some
personal life situation coincided with what is written in the script,
which immediately made it to my soul”,— said Alexander Baluev.
