The daughter of Valentina Tereshkova, Elena, who was familiar with Dmitry’s family, told reporters that the actor struggled with serious illness. This summer, he underwent another course of medical treatment.

“The whole year he persistently treated. He had melanoma — skin cancer. The last treatment took place in Israel. On 17 August he was transferred from Israel to Moscow. Doctors gave recommendations. He waited in the Oncology research Institute.Herzen, where the best in our country, experts in this field. But Dima went to commercial the clinic and a week later died there. The woman says she always admired the talent of Dmitry. However, according to Elena, the musician was a lot of envy. Even the father of the violinist Pavel Kogan, was jealous of the talent of the son. He was divorced with Lubov and not involved in the upbringing of the heir.

“I’m still sorry for Dima that on the day of his death, his father did not cancel the concert. He was still touring. Went on tour when he was in intensive care…” said the daughter Tereshkova.
